Symbactin is a semi-solid pessary, that is a vaginal suppository. When inserted into the vagina it releases a medicine called clindamycin phosphate. This belongs to a group of medicines called ‘antibiotics’.
Symbactin is used in the treatment of a bacterial infection of the vagina called bacterial vaginosis.
