Pectolvan is a herbal medicine containing an extract of ivy leaves (Hedera helix L.). It belongs to the expectorant group of medicines. It helps to remove mucus and phlegm from the lungs and bronchi and facilitates expectoration. Pectolvan is a syrup with a sweet, cherry flavour.
Pectolvan is used to relieve productive cough (so-called wet cough) in adults, adolescents and children over 2 years of age.

Recommended dose:
Adolescents (aged 12 years and over), adults and the elderly: 5 ml three times daily Children aged 6 to 11 years: 5 ml twice daily Children 2 to 5 years: 2.5 ml twice daily.
